An attempt to find material about this ephemeral sporting fixture. Starting from some pictures I took a long time ago ...
Race Summary
Held just once in 1963? Surely not - given it’s such an historic route.
Since one of my old photos is clearly of Albert Hitchen in Falcon colours wearing the London-York winners sash for 1964 there must have been at least two editions ... But so far have only found the details for 1963.

1. Albert Hitchen (Falcon Cycles)
No other info but my photos show Albert Hitchen, Bill Holmes, Peter Chisman, Arthur Durham and John Woodburn (?) at the finish. It was probably the Sunday of the York Rally at the Knavesmire that year.
