The story goes that some of the riders selected for the 1967 Tour de France decided to get some serious training by competing in anything they could get an entry for in Belgium. I guess that this would be sometime in May or June 1967. [Heard from either Colin Lewis or Arthur Metcalfe]
Is anyone still around that can add anything?
