Ridley X-Fire Cyclocross Bike

The X-Fire is the new, full carbon, cyclo cross bike for the start of the 2007-2008 cyclo cross season. And two examples were on display at the Ridley trade stand at the Koppenberg Cross recently (1-Nov-2007).

The X-Fire is available in the UK as a complete bike but the “Flying Beebie” version seen in Belgium was set-up for the Palmans-Cras pro team and had some significant changes from the standard spec. The most obvious were the move to Shimano Dura-Ace / XTR for the drive chain and the deep-section 4ZA carbon rims on pmp hubs complete with Dugast cross tyres.
